Pixhawk cube usb connection without carrier board or on cutom board

Hi. I am designing a board for custom drone. Cube will sit on top of it. I can not connect to Cube with USB. Only connects when on original carrier board. No connection without a carrier board or on my custom one. What is the trick? It uses some contacts for check? Can not identify anything from the schematics.

Please tell me the secret :slight_smile:

Are you willing to post your schematics? do you have the VBUS connected correctly as per the reference board?
if not, You can power the cube via the carrier board and the USB should work anyway…

Thanks for reply. When I power it from my carrier board it works. I meant without CB power.

For power I have pins 61 and 63 connected to 5V.

What else needs to be connected to allow it to work with USB power?

Ok. I understood VBUS connection, it goes from USB to PSM and from there back to Cube. As I don’t have PSM and have not connected VBUS it doesn’t work on my CB.
