Pixhawk 2.4.8 with FS-iA6B receiver

Hi Everyone,

How do we connect Pixhawk 2.4.8 with FS-iA6B receiver?

My current connection is from Pixhawk (RCIN) to receiver (PPM/CH1). But the LED on receiver does not blink.

After watching several videos and reading online about this, it seems that I am connecting it correctly, but no matter what, it does not work. Receiver works fine if connected to ESC+Battery. Can someone suggest if I am doing something wrong.

Thank you,
Anand

I believe you have to enable ppm or ibus from the radio menu.

Thank you. I’ll try that now.

In order to use SBUS rather than PPM I think you want to connect it to the top right three pins on the receiver (with the connector flat, signal wire to the outside) in order to get sbus. Then on the TX select sbus rather than ibus.

I think this FS-i6 TX does not have sbus settings. Tried all possible connections. still not working. Thanks though.

So set it to PPM then. No reason for that to not work If connected properly.

My controller is the same and to use PPM, I need to use a PPM Encoder, I don’t know if it’s possible to connect without the PPM Encoder, but it works perfectly for me.

Did you set “PWM” on ur transmitter for this setup to work? (PWM transmitter-> PWM receiver → PWM to PPM encoder → Pixhawk. Correct?

Also how to connect pixhawk output to ESC that accepts only PWM?
