I have made a hexacopter and it works perfectly.
I recently tried to add a servo to the 6th channel which did not lock when connected with a 9v external battery. I also tried to change the channels but nothing worked.
I also changed the servo inputs in the software to rcin6…this had made the servo work in the 2.4.8 version. Moreover I tried changing the channels too but nothing worked.
Also, the servo doesn’t work when connected directly to the receiver as well.
Maybe issue in servo.
I tried with 3 different models of servos. I also checked them before connecting to pixhawk…they work fine.
Note :- That you cannot get power from the servo power rail from the servo outputs of your cube orange. You need external power. In which servo output pin you are connecting your servo output ?
