A customer of mine suddenly started receiving the following error on a Pixhawk 2.1-equipped quadcopter. It also constantly emits the startup tone over and over again, and becomes very hot to the touch. Some details:
He’s using a custom firmware variant apparently based on AC3.5-rc8 but with some expanded CAN functionality. We checked to ensure the board target temp was set to 60. I’ve attached the custom firmware file.
The copter was calibrated and flown successfully this morning with no behavior issues. The error appeared while sitting on the bench
The Pixhawk doesn’t power up at all when the aircraft is powered by a battery. Only when connected directly via USB. Checked power connections; they’re fine.
Any thoughts? This system is identical to many I’ve built and delivered previously aside from the custom firmware, but I’ve never seen this particular error before. Will supply logs once I look through them and figure out which of them is relevant.
