Pitch Error in SITL with JSBSim


I’m running a JSBSim backed SITL simulation with various planes including Rascal (the default) model.

On models tested so far, the reported pitch of the vehicle even when on-ground, freshly “spawned” is offset by about -15 degrees. I’ve attached a screenshot showing this, would appreciate any help debugging into this.

For anyone who’s looking for a solution with similar description above, reset the firmware of Ardupilot SITL.
