I am looking for assistance with help on my PID’s.
Here are 2 pics and what I am trying to figure out is what I need to increase in order to get rid of a wobble.
What I am stuck on is a wobble that is preventing me from moving forward with the process of getting my quad tuned.
Yes I am working my way thru the configurator but im stuck after the quick tune flight before the mag fit flight.
Also here are my PID’s on a 13in proped quad.
First unlock Pitch and Roll and run quick tune again, second remove D from Yaw, then set Throttle controller gains to your mot_thrst_hover. Reduce that PID’s by 50% if you see oscillations. Set Reference in Harmonic notch filter, currently its not working. Last and maybe mandatory step for begginer is to use methodicconfigurator
Edit: Posting like this and none will help you much, you need to provide a log file so we can see better what is wrong
Thank you for the feedback. I am currently using the methodic config but I am stuck. I will get a log posted up.
Im not sure how you use it but im pretty sure that @amilcarlucas didnt make mistake in param file for not setting throttle controller and harmonic notch reference settings. I guess you skip alot pages in tuning process. I personally dont have experiance using that softwere, but i see alot of success people have with it.

I went up and commanded a roll and the wobble happened and I flipped the emergency stop switch.
I also changed the parameters that you suggested.
Still no reference in Notch filter, still D on yaw… you can run all day quick tune but you will not get results that’s you wanna by reject to change parameters that i suggest to you. I will check log tomorow when i got home from vacation.
Reran quick tune with Yaw D removed, Added the reference for the notch.
Here are the values that it gave me.
The Issue is no longer there. I just did a test flight and have zero issues. @Goran_F450 thank you for taking time to help!! Now off to work my way thru the rest of methodicconfigurator.
Set BW for notch filter to 12, when you go ESC Notch its going FQ/4 for BW
In this Screenshoot you gave you still have D on Yaw.
Do onother hover 30 sec with IMU logging so we can confirm you Harmonic Notch is working properly

I am trying to understand PID’s in relation to the graphs that they produce and how to fix flight behaviour.
I have a completely different quad that I am working my way through the configurator and i’m about to the quick tune step but I have a wobble that gets bigger and bigger.
My thoughts are a higher roll and pitch gain?
Maybe you can look at these graphs and tell me your thoughts…
