Parameter setting suggestions for docile handling - suitable for beginners

I’m configuring an old Hexsoon EDU-450 for a young beginner pilot. I’ve made some parameter changes to make the copter docile - but I’m wondering if there are others I should consider.

Here’s what I’ve set so far:

PILOT_TKOFF_ALT=100
PILOT_Y_RATE=24
ATC_INPUT_TC=0.3
LOIT_SPEED=200
PILOT_SPEED_UP=63
PILOT_SPEED_DN=0

I think the PILOT_TKOFF_ALT might be a little low. 1m/3ft doesn’t leave you much room. Personally I’d double that.

Don’t underestimate the “young” beginner pilot. At 4 and 5 years old my resident beginner was hovering drones that many “seasoned” experts were having trouble with.

Since I’m 65 years old - “young” can cover quite a range of ages…
