Optical flow sensor on the front/ back

Hi,

Is it possible to use:

  1. Multiple optical flow sensors
  2. Sensors on the front and / or back of the drone

My purpose is stabilization rather than than collision avoidance.

I really appreciate any answers, did already lots of research and found no answers.
