Only throttle works when armed

Hi I’ve just configured my quad Copter everything is fine but when I arm all that happens is the moters spin and I only have throttle command from my radio this is with props off is this normal ?? Or is something not right when I move rudder pitch and aieleron I get nothing this this ok or not ? Please help !
