Nooploop TOF rangefinder no data being received

I was using a NoopLoop TOF sensor which worked well in UART. But due to being short on UART ports in new FC I wanted to convert it into CAN so I used the nooploop assistant software once I set the interface to CAN to data output mode to active and baud rate to 100k I did write the parameters.
And after this I am not able to connect to the software, I think this is because I was using a normal TTL to USB connector.
To test the sensor I connected it to can2 of CUBE orange. and set the parameters as recommended in documentation the major being
RNGFND1_TYPE = “38”
CAN_P2_DRIVER = 1
CAN_P2_BITRATE = 100000
CAN_D2_PROTOCOL = 13

But still I am not getting any data in Rangefinder1.

Any help from the community is appreciated !
