No Wifi access point with APSync Edison image

I have the latest (Jan 23) image on 2 edisons, one in a Pix2 and one on a breakout board and have no wifi access point show up on my LAN. The password to get into the edison has changed with this release so I am left with nothing and no way to get in. I would really like to help out with beta testing and do whatever I can to make this happen but I need a little help from the developers.

Thanks, RB

So the image on Edison that went up yesterday is now apsync/apsync

The older image for apsync on Edison was user/edison.

Were you always using the same WiFi client to look for the “ardupilot”
access point?

I have heard that there are actually different sorts of Edisons out there
with differeing WiFi behaviour. Can anyone confirm that?

Please try the latest image for Edison:

@peterbarker
Peter, I flashed your latest image right after it was uploaded and it works great. I have been flying with wifi mavlink and it is fully functional. Range is a bit disturbing, I have an external antenna Edison coming in the next couple of days so will try that to see if range can be increased a bit. Not really a big problem for me at this point as I have Frsky telemetry as well but would be a deal breaker for video.

Cheers,
