No time to calibrate compass

I see some youtube video’s where they have all the time in the world to calibrate their compass. Mission Planner gives me a limited time to get all the axis’s recorded… And being this is a 11kg 1300mm X8, it’s pretty hard to maneuver before your time’s up. Is there a way around this? I’m asking because I just watched a video where the guys is giving instruction between each step! I would have timed out on the first axis lol!

3.2 has a reduced calibration. Basically face north and pitch rotate 360, then roll 360. You should obtain a confirmation and new set points.

Thanks for the reply. I did find when doing the calibration with the radio link instead of the usb, I got a lot more time. But then again, it seems to record the samples a lot slower. All works though considering your information.
