No throttle reaponse below 50%

I have set my pixhawk not to spin props when armed. But i try to take off in loiter mode and i noticed that probs start spinning when throttle value is above 50% and immediately the quad take off. Is this normal?

Yes. Think about it. Hover in Loiter is at mid stick or 50% throttle. Below 50% throttle it will descend… Take off in Stabilize if you don’t like this behavior.

Dave thanks. But in copter version 3.3.3 in loiter mode throttle was liner before taking off. Is this a firmware update change?

No, I don’t think so. Maybe your mid throttle position has not been learned yet.
