Hi everyone.
I have used APM:Coptor a bunch, but I’m new to APM:Plane.
I have an “Ansley Peace Drone” set up and ready for the first flight.
Bench testing, I have discovered that in all manual modes ( manual, FBWA,) the throttle responds to the radio commands as described. But when switched to any auto mode, (FBWB, Auto, Guided, RTL,) the throttle shuts down.
I understand that the throttle should be under APM control in these modes and stick input is used to “bump” speed.
Question; Did I miss something in the setup/configuration?
Shouldn’t it be trying to accelerate to flight speed?
Or is this normal and I just don’t understand operation yet?
Hardware is full Pixhawk with an airspeed sensor. plane:3.3 loaded
Thanks for any input you might have.
Mike
