APM 2. J1 installed. confirmed 5V from BEC going to output pins. Powers up fine from usb port. There must be a fuse somewhere on the board??? was working fine, then all of a sudden poof… Anybody have any ideas?

Try here: http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/apm2-5-5v-vcc-schematic I think that the 2.0 is similar to the 2.5 the difference being a bigger blocking diode, I believe.
Now you can see why it is not a good idea to power the APM through J1 using a BEC on the Servo Output power rail.

Is the F2 fuse replaceable? or do i have to find another means of powering my board.

I think that some members have replaced the fuse and/or diode. I think that the fuse might be the self resetting kind.
