İ’m building a vtol and there is a problem with my setup. I use pixhawk 4 control card. The problem is I can’t use control surfaces in q modes (q_stabilize, q_hover etc.). I can use them in manuel or stabilize modes (plane modes). There is no respond to rc and also there is no respond even if I try to change the direction of plane. İ’m new to vtols and tailsitters.

Do your surfaces move if you rotate the aircraft around in FBWA?
In Q modes you will not be able to manually deflect control surfaces, however they should respond to accelerometer movement the same way as you’d see in FBWA.

Since this is my first tailsitter, I didn’t know taht it don’t move elevons without throttle. Today I tried it without props with high throttle and it worked. I forgot to update here.
I am also learning about tailsitter, so if I understand correctly, if the throttle is less than 50% in Qhover or QLoiter modes, the control surfaces won’t move with manual sticks input, but as soon as the throttle goes above 50%, manual RC input works, did I understand correctly?
I can’t say there is a limit of 50%, it guess the pwm outputs for control surfaces are propotinal to throttle, not sure though
