No Bluetooth support on iOS version of QGroundControl?

When I’m using QGroundControl on an android device I use Bluetooth to connect my full size crossfire with mavlink to QGroundControl.

However when I want to do the same on iOS (iPAD pro) I have no option to use Bluetooth.
Is there any reason it is missing? There is only UDP and TCP as connection option there.

From The Man:
QGC needs Bluetooth Serial Protocol Profile to work which is not supported by iOS. QGC does not support BLE.

I use WiFi radios.
