NKF2 logging 0 for wind speeds (VWN, VWE)

I’m trying to see the wind speed EKF estimates for my quadcopter in the logs, but it never logs anything but 0.

Is there actually code to estimate wind speed, or is are there parameters that I need to set differently?

I’ve read every guide I can for this, and haven’t been able to get anything working.

As far as i know there is no wind speed estimation in copter (yet)

OK. Would anyone know what happened to Paul Riseborough’s attempt here?

I believe code with very similar idea is used by PX4. Does anyone know how well it works or if it would be something we could try to implement in the ArduCopter code? I’d be willing to try (given the time, haha).
