Nimbus Tricopter VTOL with gasoline engine is it possible?

Hello, I want to build a big tricopter with gasoline engine. Is the gasoline engine slow in balancing? Do I have problems ? First of all I want to try the standard tricopter,(with gasoline) then I want to try the vtol tricopter like the nimbus with gasoline engine. Do you think I will be successful ? @Michael_De_Leon @GregCovey

Hi,

Yes, I think this might be your issue if you use gas engines to hover. I have seen the use of gas engines for forward flight but not for hovering on a VTOL.
