Running a small quad on tmotor 3508 340kv motors. Not quite enough power, so swapping to tmotor 5006 450kv’s. Same 15” props. Can I just detune the pids 25% and AT, or should I reset and start over? BTW, got some brand new 3508’s to sell😂
Assuming the tune was good before I would leave the PID’s where they are and try it. The hover value will change so you will have to reset PSC_ACCZ_I & PSC_ACCZ_P
And recheck the Notch Filter.
It’s still entirely possible you will have to revise the PID’s but do these 1st and then check for output oscillation.
