a brand new Hex Here2 GPS unit has just landed here. Connected to a Pix2.1 GPS1 port it seems to work ok.
- is it supposed to run trough i2c? GPS1 is a serial port?
- i tried to switch to CAN (switch inside) and connect it to the can port, then enable “can drivers” 1 and 2. either works, and FC freezes after booting. (i wasn’t expecting much more).
- What we can expect from it using CAN in terms of functionality or improvements? maybe using its IMU as redundant one? Do we have a (rough) schedule for the can comm?
