A friend gave me this. I was able to install Plane 4.4.3 on it as FMUv2 (with v3, it complained about 1M memory). What is this board?

Who knows. Some generic early version of the Pixhawk. 1-1M is the correct firmware.

Ah OK. Yes, I still have one of those, it’s a bench sitter now. If you want to use if for Plane download the .apj file from here and flash it with MP. Pixhawk 1-1M
Yeah. It’s quite ancient in AP terms. What’s the difference between 1-1M and FMUv2 targets?

You have to trace the Hwdef file references to understand that.
1-1M includes Pixhawk1 with Minimize features and some drivers deleted.
Pixhawk1 includes Fmuv3 with some additions.
So by flashing 1-1m you will essentially have fmuv3 with minimized features. It’s the correct firmware for that FC.
