Multiple RC Receivers

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to set up multiple RC receivers on a Matek H743 V3 flight controller. One of the receivers is connected to RX6 (used as RCIN), and another one is connected to a different serial port and also configured as RCIN.

The issue I’m facing is that RX6 (the primary SBUS input) is set up as a serial port. When the connection to this receiver is lost, the system doesn’t switch back or recover properly—it just stays stuck with the last known signal.

On the Cube Orange, RCIN is hardware-defined and not configured as a serial port, which avoids this problem. Is there any way to make RX6 act like a hardware RCIN input on the Matek H743 V3, similar to the Cube Orange? Maybe there’s a way to configure this using BRD parameters?

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Ardupilot RC is not intended to work with dual RC inputs. That it works at all on IOMCU equipped FCs is a happy accident.

Not exactly this.

But definitely requires an IOMCU at the moment, so no luck for Matek H743.
