MPlanner Flight Director display not using External Compass

Hi, I just bought a Pixhawk 2.4.8 and accessories on AliExpress, items seem to be working. But Mission Planner still uses the internal compass on the PX board even though I checked all the boxes and params in choosing external compass as the main compass.

When I try to calibrate it, the GPS compass is functional, as well as the internal compass. However when I go back to “Flight Data” section of Mission Planner, it still uses the internal compass as the main compass.

I am not sure how to fix this, please guide me through

The AK8963 is on the MPU9250, the LSM303D is on FC mainboard (both internal). The ICM20948 is on the Here module isn’t it? I have an older one where this is not the case but I believe the newer ones do have it. BTW-AFAIK the magnetometer on the ICM20948 is also an AK8963. Is there some reason you have Yaw 270 for compass orientation? Also, just a comment. With no compass’s active you will see yaw movement (compass wiggle as you say) on the HUD when rotating the FC from the Z-axis gyro so that …

Did it solve the problem with that explanation? How did you do it? I have not yet tried that but I will… and I also have that slow spinning yaw movement even though my buzzer and switch and other electronics are far from the PX board
