Where is the moving map data stored for MAVProxy?
Also is it possible to download map data for when you operate in areas that don’t have internet access?

The moving map data is stored in ~/.tilecache in Linux .
To download map data, just start MAVProxy and move the map to the areas you want saved. The tiles will be downloaded and saved to that directory.
