Mode change,RTL buttons not working, however, mission uploads do work

Was testing MP with radio telemetry yesterday on a new plane, using some of its uplink features for the first time (I usually use QGC on my phone) and noticed some strange behaviour:

1.Downlink runs fine…HUD,tracking, waypoint download
2.Mode changes dont work, either from set mode dropdown, or RTL button…but waypoint upload worked fine,didn’t test joystick yet
…but on another plane it was working and mode change buttons assigned on the joystick worked

any ideas? remRSSI was 96%

Can you also try doing a parameter regeneration.

Press control-f
Then click paramgen
Wait
Restart mission planner and try again
