This UAV Precision Landing Module uses the STM32 high-performance processor to run vision algorithms, integrating vision cameras, optical flow sensors, and laser distance sensors to obtain information on the AprilTag position and angle of the target. It is equipped with a distance sensor to provide information on the altitude of the UAV, which provides precise location information for UAV landing. It uses the open source protocol UAVCAN to communicate with the flight control, and has a built-in SD card to record the picture information during the flight, and supports the secondary development of MicroPython.

Looks cool, in the past there was things like Ir-Lock and others. This seems like an improvement.

No, there won’t be any issues in high sunlight conditions, actual flight tests have been done to ensure this.
