Mission planner won't zoom on google maps

I just installed the latest version of mission planner (1.3.29) on a new dell laptop with windows 8.1 but at a certain point, about 5 miles high, google maps stops zooming on flight data/flight plan. Bing works fine but, wow, their maps are old.

any fix for google maps?

I guess no one has experienced this so wondering how to get in touch with Michael Oborne? I heard he is available through github but not sure what that might be

There were a number of problems with v1.3.29 so MO updated MP with v1.3.30.
Please try updating MP to the newest version.

Tried that, still no zoom. :frowning: I’ve switched to Bing until it can be resolved although maps of my neighborhood are 5 years old.

Nope, no go on 1.3.30 either.

Same problem as OP. Google Sat map can’t zoom in. Bing Sat on MP is fine, regular Google Earth on same computer is fine.

I have the same problem. In fact I just posted the issue and then saw your post. Bing works fine but Google, same problem as you are experiencing. :unamused:
