Mission Planner won’t open due to baud rate error in the past

Some weeks ago I used an invalid baud rate in trying to connect to Ardupilot 2.8 board. Since then MP fails to open stating “bad baud rate” or similar. I have uninstalled MP twice and reinstalled program twice but I still get the same notice and MP won’t start. Windows PC

I cant remember the exact fix, it’s been so long…
But try these:

  • Move out or delete these files: C:\ProgramData\MissionPlanner\MissionPlanner.log.{date}
  • Move out or delete these files: …\Documents\Mission Planner\logs\

You might even be able to find the file related to you bad connection and just delete that one.

During the startup of MissionPlanner, the scrolling text in the CMD window will probably identify the issue too, it may tell you which log file is bad
