Mission Planner will not connect to 915mHz telemetry radio

My system was working fine yesterday. This morning I got prompted to install a new MP update. I did that and now neither Mission Planner or qGroundCoontrol will connect via telemetry radio.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers until I was blue in the face. I rolled back the CP21xx drivers to version 6.7 (which used to work just fine before MS came out their “10.1 Unified driver” crap.) I nuked every driver, nuked MP, nuked qGC ran CCleaner to clean up the registry, rebooted the computer, reinstalled MP and still I can’t connect to a Pixhawk.

And, this isn’t the first time this @#$@#$@ has happened either. First it was Windows10 mucking up the serial port drivers, and now it looks like MP just got real stupid.

So what’s the deal? Is this an MP or Windows issue?

I figured it out. I have a MavLink OSD running MWOSD in parallel with the telemetry radio. For some as yet unknow reason the OSD got stupid and is “blocking” the telemetry port. When I disconnect the OSD the radio works fine…
