Mission Planner Verify GPS confusion

I’m new to this, havent even been in the air yet. I’ve read all I can on Ardupilot and watched the Pre Flight check list movie. Very informative, but doesnt answer my question.

In my checklist there, if 4 is greater than and or equal to 3 why isnt it green?

My Pixhawk is flashing blue.

Running Mission Planner 1.3.68
PixHawk with ArduCopter 3.6.9

Thank you. Jerry

Perhaps it is an update issue. Did you try to change to FlighPlanner and back to FlightData ?

3D DGPS is generally a very poor fix. Are you outside?

One of the major considerations for GPS now is not the Sats or HDOP but the velocities.

A simple way I still use to check the readiness of Guided modes is to switch into those modes before arming.
You will find the LED will change to yellow when not ready, even if it is flashing green in non guided modes.
It is still not as good as it could be, I know.

If you want to get a message of what is wrong, switch to a guided mode (Loiter for eg) and try to arm.
You will get a message in the GCS HUD, which is usually to do with vertical velocity or similar.

Yes, outside end of my driveway in the alley. Wide open.

is your good gps plugged into gps1 or gps2? im going to guess gps2.

you will need to edit the preflight checks to check the correct gps.
