Mission Planner thinks my Pixhawk is an APM FC

I recently went from the APM 2.6 to the Pixhawk 2.4.6, when I rebuilt my Hexacopter and connected to MP, it thinks it’s still an APM. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of MP and still loads APM.

Any Ideas or Suggestions?

how are you determining what MP is identifying?

At the top of Mission Planner it states APM 3.3.3 as the Firmware I have installed

that doesn’t mean anything. its only a label.

apart from uploading FW. MP doesn’t care what its talking to, could be a Linux pc for all MP knows. operationally there is no difference.
