Mission Planner missing hardware config menu option

Hey All,

Looking forward to being an active in this forum and i have just started using the ArduPilot 3.0.1 and APM 2.6 module for the standard X quadcopter.

I have connected successfully, uploaded the firmware and was just about to hardware and compass calibration unfortunately that option just doesn’t appear on my menu or options buttons within the mission planner software I am running the latest mission planner software downloaded it 2 days ago

What am i doing wrong ? have i missed a step . I have connected motors, receiver, 3DR GPS correctly .

I am running it under VM Fusion 5.0.3 and i have successfully communicated with APM module via CLI.

What am i missing here , Help would be much appreciated.

@baraspatch,
After having successfully uploaded the Ardupilot firmware, you need to select the “Initial Setup” tab in the MP header bar. The Initial Setup window will open and over on the left hand side of the window will be a small menu starting with “Mandatory Hardware”. Select that menu item and you should now be able to start calibrating your hardware.
