I mission planner when checking my fail safe I moved the throttle to mid stick and flipped Ch#7 (SF) into fail safe. In MP the throttle channel was at mid stick when I put it into fail safe and it never moved. My fail safe throttle value is set at 910 which is below the throttle mid stick range. Any suggestions?
Did you try it while looking at the hud on mission planner? it shows the current flight mode in the bottom right corner.
I was under the impression that getting RTL using channel 7 was more of a flight mode override than a failsafe which would explain why your throttle input doesn’t change.
Yes, when I invoke fail safe it shows up in the HUD in the bottom right corner
