Do any of you have experience about ExpressLRS Airport together with Mission Planner for Android ?
Sporadically the app shuts down, maybe there is a setting I should change?
Airport works great with Windows installation and I have flown for a few hours without any problems.
The Android version is installed on a
Lenovo Tab M10, Android 10.
This would be the 2nd problem I will tackle once I get the Airport working.
I am trying to connect 900Mhz Rx/Tx to a Pixhawk Cube Black.
Rx is connected to UART-1, serial 1 is set to 1, baud rate 4800 (according to ELRS)
Both Rx and TX are bound. I am using my laptop (Windows) to connect to MP, no response. any suggestions?
I’ve been using ELRSAirport since March on two of my machines with Pixhawk6C and Windows 11, version 23H2. Mission Planner 1.3.82. Here are my settings.
Here is my setup which is not working:
Pixhawk Cube Black running 4.4.4 firmware.
Using UART label GPS2 = Serail4 = 2, 0, 4 (as stated above by Yrjo)
RSSI_type = 3 and 5
RC_option = 258 (for Yappu)
BetaFpv 900Mhz system binded with HappyModel Rx
ver: 3.4.3
100 Full 1:2
500mW TLM
I am powering the Tx module via USB connected to Dell laptop running Windows, and I can see port being recognized without any issue.
I have tried powering the FC with battery and USB. In both cases, it won’t connect and times out.
Thank you Lupus. Does this download look correct (see pic below)?
Also, does this Mavlink work just like the TBS-Crossfire big module where I can wirelessly (Wifi or BL) connect to the mission planner while the Tx module is on the RC-Radio? So basically RC-radio sends PWM data and MP sends and receives packets.
I am using BetaFPV Micro module and it does have wifi but I thought it was only to receive a firmware update.
I followed all the instructions from the MavlinkELRS page, I have RC control, and receive telemetry on the RC-radio, but connecting to MP via USB cable times out (won’t connect). The module is recognized by my laptop and I can see the port opens up, but it won’t connect. Drivers seem to be happy under DeviceManager, so what’s the deal?
DIP switches need to be configured differently for this kind operation, it may not yet be in the wiki. I think for USB operation you need the same configuration as for programming the main processor though I haven’t used any transmitter with dip switches, check the ExpressLRS Discord.
I got it working with USB after changing the 1 & 2 dip switches to ON position. Rest of the switches are OFF.
Now the question… will the Yaapu telemetry will work? its not working.
