Mission planner and parameters

As i understand MP needs parameters to be downloaded. Are all parameters needed or could be downloaded just the parameters strictly needed to fly and eventually if needed the rest of the parameters could be fetched when one needs the parameter list to make some changes?
Or maybe download first the parameters needed and let user fly while the rest is fetched in background.

I think it would speed up the time to air a lot.

can you post a tlog of one of your connections? just want to look at whats going on if its taking a longer than normal amount of time.

Will post tomorrow, it takes about 15-20 seconds, it looks normal to me, based on video of other users.
