Mission Planer 1.3.82 - configure the plane to return to a Rally Point

I have read various pages (RTL Mode (Return To Launch), …)
but the correct selection of a remote HOME position is still unclear to me
(PLAN: WP?, AUTO WP?, Rally Point not found!).
When I switch to RTL, I want the model to immediately return to a fixed point
across the runway and circle there with a certain radius (no landing, altitude
is not important). This position should be saved forever in the F405.

Furthermore, it is not clear in (GPS dependent mode) (unplug?).

What is the best method to achieve this?

However, I think rally points may be disabled in F405 firmware due to flash limitations.

Rally points should work on F405. At least it does on the Matek F405wing last time I tried. (but that was a couple of versions ago…)

Is there an RTL description somewhere that refers to the MissionPlaner 1.3.82 ?

Just tested: Rally points work on my ancient first generation Matek F405 Wing with latest Plane 4.5.7beta1

If necessary, the Wiki refers to the firmware versions: RTL Mode (Return To Launch) — Plane documentation

Thanks for checking. I looked at the enabled features for that very board before replying above. The MavLink Rally Point feature was enabled, but the HAL ChibiOS Rally Point feature showed disabled. I guess one of the two is enough!
