New parameters in Arduplane 4 do not appear in the group filters e.g. “RC” or “SERIAL”. However if you search for them, they are found and can be edited. For example RC8_OPTION and SERIAL6_OPTIONS.
Also, an incorrect error message appears on connection.
The version check problem is fixed in daily builds as should be the parameter thing. Stable builds are generally not updated when new ArduPilot versions with parameter changes come out. Only daily builds will keep up to date with really new firmware versions.
