Minimum settings on Devo-7 RC

Dear experts,

I want to tweak the Devo-7 RC default settings so that the quad copter flies better.

The quad copter will have APM2.8 and the RX601 receiver.

Can someone please tell me what are the minimum settings that needs to be tweaked on the Devo-7 RC.
