Metal box to house pixhawk with yaw GPS?

I am going to put a pixhawk and related electronics on a zero turn mower.

It will be sitting behind the seat, half way above the engine.

To reduce EMI, I thought of putting it into a metal box, as I do not need the compass of the pixhawk, which would not work in a metal box.

The metal box would also be more rugged compared to ABS.

Anything I am overlooking here… for using a steel box? Thanks.

If you don’t need a compass you should be fine. Might as well turn off the compass as well so you don’t get warnings about the compass going wild.
