MAVLink2 is in ArduPilot master

We now have MAVLink2 support in master. Key things to know are:

  • MAVLink2 packets will be accepted by default, but won’t be sent
  • if you change SERIALn_PROTOCOL to 2 for the port you are using then MAVLink2 packets will be sent as soon as an incoming MAVLink2 packet is seen or if signing is setup
  • both MAVProxy and MissionPlanner have initial support for MAVLink2
  • In MissionPlanner see the “signing” button in the control-F screen
  • in MAVProxy use the signing commands
  • 3DR radios are not fully functional with MAVLink2 yet. I am working on that
