Please connect the minus (black) wire of the PL - BEC as close as possible to the main battery, as he is the ground reference for the voltage measurement. The positive wire (red) can be connected to the PDB.

Can I connect both to my xt60 connector?
As quoted, “can be connected to the PDB”, not should be… You choose the more convenient way, XT plug is usually fine.
