Mateksys H743-Mini flight controller sometimes does not complete the initialization cycle

Good morning,
on my RC helicopter Align T-Rex 450 I installed the Mateksys H743-Mini flight controller with the Arducopter V4.5.7 firmware. For a few days this FC sometimes does not complete the initialization cycle. How can I solve the problem?

Hi, I think this is because the FC does not transmit telemetry to the radio control, and does not arm.

What beeps are you hearing and what are the LEDs on your board showing?

You say “sometimes” does that mean the problem is intermittent? You can try leaving it on when it does not want to arm and connect to a ground station to get more info about what its not wanting to arm.

Pulling logs can also give you some more information.

when it doesn’t arm the red light stays on and the blue light flashes and it doesn’t make any sound.
Yes, the problem is intermittent.
I attach three flightslogs. The first two did not arm, the third did and I flew.
I’m not very familiar with analyzing flightslogs. Can you look at them and diagnose the problem?

and looking at your logs it seems maybe its just waiting for GPS fix?

That should not be needed in stabilized mode though. Check your GPS settings to verify min sats and arm checks are not preventing due to HDOP or GPS Sats count.

A couple of things to help you sort it out though.

  1. Do you have telemetry back to your radio or a ground station? If you have it to your radio you might be able to use yaapu telemetry on your radio to view more info about whats going on.

  2. Do you have log_disarmed setup? Downloading and Analyzing Data Logs in Mission Planner — Copter documentation I’m not sure what all info it logs by default.
