Master thesis first flight

hello all i am a control engineer i am developing a fault tolerance algorithm for a hexarotor using pixhawk i have done all the theoretical study also the software in the loop and all went very good. from two days i tried my first flight but i notice a problem in the GPS, while the copter is motionless on the ground i notce that it is moving on the mission planner map. notice that the heading direction is stable and i have done the compass calibration successfully alsu the attitude angles are stable. please give me a help…with respect

Mazeh,

I think that’s just the nature of a GPS. It’s always going to move around by a few meters even if conditions are good. If it’s moving many dozens of meters then it’s probably getting interference from other equipment on the vehicle (telemetry, FPV video system, etc).
