What would be required to operate a Holybro 6C flight controller in a manned light sport aircraft equipped with appropriately sized motors on quadcopter styled, wing mounted booms, to enable the aircraft to operate and hover like a VTOL quadplane? I assume that there will be a scale-up in terms of power transmission. The aircraft would likely weigh about 1,300 pounds. I will appreciate any comments provided.
You might want to review the terms of service for Ardupilot. But here’s the key one for this discussion:
Never use the software or hardware for manned vehicles. The software and hardware we provide is only for use in unmanned vehicles.

We don’t support manned vehicle and ArduPilot wasn’t developped towards this goal.
Please contact your local regulators to know what are the rules in your area and look for a certified autopilot.
