Making the change from MOT_SPIN_MIN TO 0 rpm more gradual

In landing process, is there a way to make the change of drone motors RPM from MOT_SPIN_MIN RPM to 0 RPM a slower and more gradual change?

There is a current spike lash back to the power source when lowering the throttle between MOT_SPIN_MIN RPM and 0 RPM, which seems to be too sharp and might cause damage to the power source circuitry.

This could be done by disabling “brake on stop” from esc settings, blheli32 esc has this configurable, not sure about the other escs.
