I am using a V1 radio on laptop and a V2 3dr radio on remote(quad). I am using a pixhawk with x8r receiver.
Radios connect (solid green) when quad is near laptop.When I walk about 15 or 20 feet away I lose connection. I’m using red dot antennas on both radios.This happens outside in a open field.Swapped antennas from another 3dr set,same problem. Used 3 dr radio configuarator and verified that radios were identical. Tried lowering power settings to no avail.
Had same problem, figured out that one radio had broken printed circuit: the link from the chip to the antenna was broken
