Longer wires on Matek M8Q-CAN?

Hi,
Got a Matek M8Q-CAN. I am new to the CAN stuff and have a question.The device is working fine with the supplied 20cm long wires.

I want to place the CAN-GPS on the outer wing tip of a plane far away from any electrical noise sources. Is it allowed to extend the wires to nearly one meter?
Do I need a termination resistor on the CAN lines?

You can extend it as you wish, no problem, and do need to think about termination, it’s totally automatic :slight_smile:
