Loiter speed adjustment

I want to change the loiter speed in flight.

For the moment CH6 is mainly unused and we get people asking to change the loiter speed. Is it possble to integrate this in CH6?

Looks like a good task for scripting to change Loiter max speed depending of CH6 value.
Alternatively it is possible to do inside OpenTX mixers - to limit max pitch value depending of the potentiometer.

All switches are used.
Second this is for safety not advised to limit the output on the joystick signal.

Loiter speed is like WP speed, this is an extra feature that will help a lot of people.
We get this request weekly in our office

Indeed this request has been made before and we have an enhancement request for it on the to-do list.

I’ve added a link back to this discussion from the enhancement request but it’s hard to say when we will get to it. For items like this it normally comes down to a volunteer developer being interested in the task and taking it on. Other times a company wants the feature as well and funds a development. In any case, I suspect it will happen eventually, it’s just hard to predict when.
