I am currently fabricating some modifications for the mower: GPS antenna and electronic box support frames…
The documentation says to install the flight controller at the centre of gravity; but a paragraph later says not mounting in there does’t do much harm either.
I have located the GPX antennas above the hydro-stat axles.
… that’s the blue post above the axle; the shorter blue post is for the support frame for the metal box which will house the electronics; incl. flight-controller. (It can be seen in the front area of the mower.) Another support will go up at the rear (yellow) frame, holding up the rear edge of the box. Meaning I can still service the engine, air filter, etc. without removing any of this added gear.
I am not using the built-in compass, hence. I think the metal box should work just fine,
Does anyone see any red flags with envisaged location?
